Herbert Flaig

Herbert H. Flaig passed on January 21, 2019. Herb was born in Chicago, IL. Herb was a beloved husband, devoted father, grandfather.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed Mah-Jong and poker with his friends, carving, clay club and fishing. He was a long time fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. Herb retired from a career at IBM in 1988.

He greatly enjoyed the latter years of his life in The Village of Amelia, The Villages, FL. since 2009.

Herb was preceded in death by his ex-wife Catherine and parents Johann and Marta Flaig.

Herb is survived by his sons Matthew (Trinidad), Mark (Jo Ann) and John (Melissa). Herb is also survived by grandchildren Steven Flaig, Angela Flaig, Samuel Flaig, William Flaig and Andrew Flaig; brother Richard (Jacqueline) and sister Loretta.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 1st 2019 at 10:30 AM, at Hope Lutheran Church, 250 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162, corner of CR 466 and Morse Blvd.
