To the Editor:

Our present administration of government has deemed it necessary to suggest two new amendments to our Constitution:
1. Neither the President, nor Congress, shall use federal government workers as hostages and bargaining devices, in disagreements between the President and Congress. Therefore, as of the date of passage of this amendment, Government Shutdowns shall be unlawful, with respect to Presidential/Congressional disagreements concerning legislation of any matter.
2. Presidential communication, directly or indirectly, with the general public, shall be accomplished via in person, with or without microphone, by telephone, newspapers, by letters, radio, or television, or by the President’s press secretary. All other electronic means of communication shall be forbidden.
