A “Naughty” woman has been jailed without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center after violating her probation.
Jennifer Lynn Schermerhorn, 34, of Ocala, was arrested Monday afternoon on a warrant charging her with violating her probation on a charge of no valid driver’s license. When she was booked at the jail, she was wearing a T-shirt proclaiming that she was, “Naughty.”
Last July, Schermerhorn had been ticketed in Sumter County on a charge of failure to yield when approaching an intersection. She did not pay the fine and on Sept. 7 a D-6 notice was mailed to her indicating her license was being suspended, according to Sumter County Court records.
