A Village of Duval couple’s 27-year-old daughter was arrested after she was caught with pills in her purse.
Nancy Gogain, who lives in the Allandale Villas with her parents, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Robert Andrew Norman Jr., of Ocala, which was pulled over at 1:10 a.m. Friday on County Road 25 for having improperly tinted windows , according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
A search of the Massachusetts native’s purse turned up a glass pipe and syringe, as well as oxycodone hydrochloride. When she was being booked at the Lake County Jail, xanax and methamphetamine were found hidden in her phone. She was released after posting $7,000 bond.
She has had multiple arrests while living in The Villages.
Norman, who has nine convictions for driving while license suspended, was arrested for driving on a suspended license. He was also wanted for failure to pay child support.
He was being held on $12,000 bond.
