William W. Kelley, of West Schwartz Blvd in the Villages, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019, at the age of 81. Bill was born in Au Sable Forks, NY, on December 24, 1937 to Messina and Bernard J. Kelley. He attended Holy Name School in Au Sable Forks, Mount Assumption in Plattsburgh, and Au Sable Forks High School, graduating in June, 1956.
He served in the Air Force and afterward graduated from Albany Business College. He remained in the Albany, NY area and owned the meat department in Greulick’s Market for many years until retirement.
Bill, with his wife, Judy, moved to The Villages in FL in 2000 where he enjoyed travel, Water Buffalos, golf, a poker group—and many friends who enjoyed his infectious humor and beautiful personality which lit up every home and situation he encountered.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, sister, Sr. Marie Cordata Kelly, children, David (Deborah), Patrick (Mavis), and Janet Kelley, stepdaughter Melinda McNairy (Todd) and 13 grandchildren, Katie Lynn, Liam, Connor and Matthew Kelley, Dax, McKane, Kieran, and Asher Andrus, and Aislinn, Brenna, Kai, and Callan McNairy.
