To the Editor:
On Tuesday, The Villages newspaper published a picture of two women holding two toddlers in their arms while driving a golf cart. Endangering the safety of small children should never be encouraged. A 20-pound child weighs 400 pounds at 20 mph. No one has the strength to hold that load and the small child would be crushed between the adult holding him and the steering in a bad impact.
