An Ocala woman was arrested early Saturday morning after being stopped in the parking lot of Darrell’s Diner on U.S. Hwy. 301.
A Wildwood Police officer pulled over a gold passenger car driven by Carmeisha Yakira Skinner for traveling at 60 mph in a posted 45 mph zone. A background check revealed that she didn’t have a valid driver’s license and one had been issued in her name in Florida, a Wildwood Police report states.
Skinner was taken into custody and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center, where she was charged with driving without a valid license. She was released Saturday afternoon on $500 bond.
