To the Editor:
In a March 31 editorial, this newspaper spends a lot of time calling out the bad parking situation at Fenney Putt & Play, and placing the blame squarely on the Developer’s shoulders.
It’s true the Developer is to blame for this parking nightmare. What this newspaper apparently didn’t do was interview anyone from the developer’s office, or from John Rohan’s office to find out WHY no automobile parking was planned for the Putt & Play. The editorial stirs up plenty of emotions and fosters discontent among residents, while doing nothing to establish the answers to why lack of parking was planned to begin with. What’s the motive for their editorial? To stir up discontent, or to fully report a bad planning decision by the Developer? The editorial would have provided a much better service to our community if it had included the Developer’s reasons for not building automobile parking at Fenney Putt & Play.
