To the Editor:
It seems the Fenney Putt & Play is very popular. It would be fun for those too young or too old to play regular golf. It is an exercise while enjoying the outdoors that most people can do.
Since it has proven to be popular, does it make sense to have one Putt & Play for a population of 120,000 people? Build one in the neighborhood of every regional recreation center and we will leave the Fenney residents to enjoy theirs. What if there was only one pickleball court in The Villages, or one bocce court? Same difference.
Maybe it’s a reward for Fenney for not being able to access The Villages by golf cart, or having to be near the prison, or hearing the stone blasting. We all pay amenities fees and we should all have access to the same amenities.
