To the Editor:
When I purchased a home in The Villages, I was under the impression that it was a 55+ community.
For the past two and a half years, I have been continually hearing, “55+ community but, 20 percent can be under that age.”
My question: Who is keeping track of the under 55s, and what are those numbers broken down by Village? I have the feeling that the Developer can’t provide you with those statistics, in such a way that can be verified.
You know why?
Because like most things in The Villages after the sale ($$$$$) of a home, the Developer could care less.
