Wellington “Billy” Freeman

Wellington “Billy” Freeman, 77, died on April 16, 2019 at 2:09 am at the Brandley Hospice house in The Villages, FL. He was born October 26, 1941 in Caracas, Venezuela to Cecilia Mosquera & Alton Freeman.

Billy is survived by his sisters: Cecilia Watson of Wharton, New Jersey, Beverly Freeman of Madrid, Spain, Dolly Freeman of Spruce Pine, NC, Lorraine Kutner of Miami, Florida. His longtime partner Angela Magliocco of Ocala, FL, his son Derek Freeman (Kiersten) of Sorrento, FL, his ONLY grandson Hunter Wellington Freeman of Sorrento, FL, an aunt, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Billy is preceded in death by his mother Cecilia Williams & his father Alton Freeman.

Billy worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Recreation Plantation in Lady Lake, FL for 20-plus years until his retirement. Billy had a love for NASCAR Racing and watching his only grandson ride and race his dirt bike. He was a kind hearted man, would help anyone in need and loved to talk to anyone that would listen.

A celebration of Life will be held at Beyer Funeral Home, 134 N. HWY 441/27, Lady Lake, FL on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Visitation will be at 10:00 am with the service 11:00 am.
