Suspect in March theft case at Target found at Lake County Jail

Christopher Kozlowski

A suspect in a March theft case at Target at Rolling Acres Plaza has been found at the Lake County Jail.

Christopher Kozlowski, 29, of Riverview, had been booked Friday at the jail following his arrest on a Hillsborough County warrant charging him with retail theft. Kozlowski on Monday was arrested on an additional charge of grand theft, this one stemming from a March 16 incident at Target. The store’s loss prevention officer contacted police after noticing Kozlowski’s mugshot from the jail. Kozlowski had been spotted on the store’s surveillance cameras putting Power Beats headphones, an Acer laptop and an Orbi Ac300 wifi speaker system into a shopping cart. Kozlowski pushed the shopping cart through a fire exit and left the store. The items had a total value of $904.96.

His bond has been set at $4,000.
