A woman was arrested with methamphetamine after a traffic stop for an expired registration.
Ashley Victoria Crist, 31, of Leesburg, shortly after noon Saturday was driving a silver Ford Taurus on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when she was pulled over by Lady Lake police.
During a pat down, a small bag containing about one gram of methamphetamine was found in Crist’s front pants pocket, according to an arrest report.
Crist was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
