A disinterested alligator passed by an equally uninterested Sandhill Crane on Monday at a golf course in The Villages.

Village Jack Ridolph shot the photos of the pair at the No. 1 tee box, at the Palmer Legends Championship Golf Course.

This alligator and Sandhill Crane showed no interest in each other at Palmer Legends Championship Golf Course.

“It seemed as if neither animal was interested in the other as they passed directly in front of the tee box,” Ridolph said.

There is plenty of alligator activity at this time of year, as it is alligator mating season.

Villager Carol Wade loved the photos.

“Glad all creatures, great and small, could enjoy the beautiful day and share the road, or more specifically, the TURF!” she said.

The pair appeared oblivious to each other.
