Sumter County sheriff’s detectives are seeking information about a trio of female bandits who last month ripped off the Wal-Mart Liquor Store at the Buffalo Ridge Plaza.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the store shortly after 4:30 p.m. April 25 after a clerk reported the theft. He told deputies that three black females entered the liquor store and one distracted the cashier while the other two walked to the back of the store and placed two Remy Martin containers and three Hennessy containers in a purse. Then, all three of the women exited the store without paying for the items, which were valued at $358.10, a Sumter County sheriff’s office report states.
