Villages artist nabs third Award of Excellence from Tallahassee Watercolor Society

Villager Nancy Dias has scored a third Award of Excellence from the Tallahassee Watercolor Society.

Dias, fresh off last month’s Merit Award from the Central Florida Watercolor Society, was honored for her painting titled “Short Circuit.” She received the honor at a reception of the Tri-State Juried Water Media Exhibition held at the LeMoyne Arts Gallery in Tallahassee, where the exhibit is running from May 2-June 29.

‘Short Circuit’

This makes three watercolor groups that have recognized the same painting. In addition to receiving awards from Tallahassee and Central Florida, Dias also was juried into the Florida Watercolor Society’s 2018 Annual Exhibition.

The Tallahassee Watercolor Society accepted entries from artists in three states – Florida, Alabama and Georgia. You can find out more about the event at https://tallahasseewatercolorsociety.com/
