A nightshift employee at an assisted living facility was arrested after allegedly raiding a Villager’s bank account.

The 81-year-old Villager passed away March 16 at the Springs of Lady Lake Assisted Living Facility. Her son later noticed some transactions on his mother’s bank account that he knew she would have never made while living at the facility, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. There were two $135 debits for cash on Feb. 19, one debit for $120 cash on Feb. 25, a charge of $44.36 for concert tickets on March 1, a debit charge for $150 cash on March 1 and a debit charge for $100 cash on March 5.

A detective obtained IP and email information from Citizens First Bank and it identified 20-year-old Kristin Reddick, a nighttime resident aid at the facility, as the recipient of the funds.

She has been charged with six counts of criminal use of personal identification. She was booked at the Lake County Jail on $30,000.
