New Rotary club meeting in Fenney receives its charter from Rotary International

The Rotary Club of The Villages Sunset South was chartered on May 8, becoming an official Rotary club for Rotary International.

The group meets at 6 p.m. Wednesdays at The Villages Sales/Recreation Center at 3210 Fenney Way in The Villages.

New members and those who have been previous Rotarians are invited to join the group, which will seek solutions to community needs and enjoy social activities.

The Villages Computer Club is working on the club’s first project to provide a computer for volunteers at the Children’s Mission who help students living in Mission Hills by teaching them how a computer can assist in completing their homework.
