Villager lands behind bars after caught riding motorcycle-style scooter

A Villager landed behind bars after he was caught riding a motorcycle-style scooter.

Mark Muldoon, 55, who lives at 1404 Azteca Loop, had been riding the green scooter Tuesday morning when he was pulled over at Paradise Drive and Wales Plaza on the Historic Side of The Villages, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A check revealed Muldoon has been classified as a habitual offender and has had numerous suspensions of his driver’s license. He was also charged with failure to register a motor vehicle.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $11,000 bond.

Muldoon has several previous arrests, including one in 2015 in which he served time in jail after grabbing at women at Spanish Springs Town Square and asking them to dance.
