Keanu Reeves appears to be milking John Wick series

John Wick is a charter member of an assassin association. He is a renegade and is accompanied by his pet bulldog, who will remain nameless.

Wick’s enemies far outnumber his friends. “Parabellum” loosely translated means prepare for war, which Wick conducts with a 9mm automatic and an unending supply of magazines. The martial arts that Wick (Keanu Reeves) uses are the main thrust of the movie.  Action is relentless to the extent it is not easy to explain.

Halle Berry can be seen on a few frames. The Cleveland, Ohio actress wastes her talents. Rumor has it that she mainly dog-sat Reeves’ own pit bull when on the set.

This is the third issue of the Wick series. If you are already a Wick fan, chances are you will enjoy the non-stop action. Otherwise, you know Wick will always perservere, so what’s all the fuss about?

I cannot recommend this movie, as it has so few redeeming features. However, it continues its extended run at the Barnstorm Theater in The Villages.

Grade D, it can be missed without remorse.
