The Villages Public Safety Department Station #47 will open on Tuesday and for the first time a Villages fire station will include a customer service center.

Opening day for Station #47 will be observed at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the newest fire station, located at 4856 South Morse Boulevard.

The new fire station south of State Road 44 will include a customer service center for residents.

This station will be unique because it will include a District Customer Service Center satellite office. Residents can go to the office to replace resident ID cards, obtain gate access cards, obtain guest IDs, pay executive trail fees, pay utility and amenity bills and obtain bond information.
