Lilah Lauree Morton Beckwith

The family of Lilah Lauree Morton Beckwith announces her passing after an extended illness on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the age of 96 years. Lilah was born September 3, 1922.

Lilah will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 77 years, Harold and her children James (Denice) Beckwith and Jerry Beckwith (deceased). Lilah will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Mellissa (Brian) Tort, Stephanie (Erik) Elliott, Steven Beckwith, Sheri Beckwith and Timothy Beckwith and great grandchildren Samantha, Kaleb and Avri.

In addition to the immediate family Lilah is survived by one sister Lois Dyer (Lansing, Michigan), one sister-in-law Alzina Seeley (Medina, Ohio), and many nieces and nephews.

Lilah enjoyed singing, quilting, knitting and craft work. After a lifetime of giving 110% she is now resting with Jesus and enjoying Him leading her through The Promised Land.

A Funeral Service in memory of Lilah will be Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10:45 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 North Highway 27/441, Lady Lake, Florida 32159. Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Lilah to the House of James Ministries International Inc, 2908 N 21st Drive, Phoenix, Arizona 85015.
