A woman arrested last year at a shopping plaza in The Villages has landed back behind bars.
Stephanie Crouse, 25, was arrested Friday on a charge of violating her probation following her conviction earlier this year on a charge of possession of heroin. A warrant for her arrest was issued in July after it was determined she had violated her probation.
Crouse had been sentenced in May to two years probation following her arrest in December in the parking lot of the Rock ‘N Wash laundromat, at 982 Bichara Blvd., when she was spotted loading a syringe with a liquid.
Crouse also had been arrested last year after she was found to be in possession of a syringe at an internet cafe in Lady Lake.
She was being held without bond this weekend at the Lake County Jail.
