James White

James White

James White, known to friends as “Jim,” passed away after his battle with Dementia in the early morning hours on August 13, 2019, at the age of 81 years.

Jim will be forever remembered by his family and friends developed over his 81 years of life. Jim was a great son of Paul and Viola White from Weston, West Virginia, a brother to Don, Brenda, and Bill White, a committed husband and best friend to Mable White of 60 years, and an excellent father to Vicki, Judy, and Jimmy White. Jim will be fondly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Ashley, Alyssa, Tony, and Taylor, to include, his great grandchildren Damien, Brianna, and Cameron.

Jim was proud of his Naval service to the United States. He was an avid golfer throughout his life, loved boating and being on the water with family and friends. He was a great husband, father, and was special to all family and friends.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 11 am, on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, The Villages, Florida with Pastor, Mike Dameron officiating the celebration.

Jim will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery for Veterans located at 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513 with respect to his tenure in the Navy.
