There must be a better way

To the Editor:

With all the hullabaloo over lawn ornaments, has no one looked at the ability to agreeably modify the covenant(s) to a set standard(s), that will allow small/reasonable ornaments without detracting from the property values or the neighborhood?
Surely there must be a way to solve this issue logically and less hysterically, while allowing the residents to decorate their property in a tasteful way. So, can the officials look into that potential use of The Villages attorney?
