Suspect caught on surveillance stealing grill from Home Depot

A suspect was caught on video surveillance stealing a grill from Home Depot in Lady Lake.

The man entered the store at 3:36 p.m. Aug. 13 and took a Sprite soda and another unidentified item from the store and left without paying for it, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He returned a short time later and took a Weber stainless steel grill and left without paying for it. He loaded it into the back of a dark-colored sport utility vehicle and drove away.

The grill was valued at $360.

The white male suspect was wearing a two-tone hat, blue T-shirt and tan shorts. He had several tattoos on his left arm, the report indicated.
