A suspect was arrested after surprising a Wildwood man during an illegal entry to his home.
Wildwood police were called Thursday night to a home on Lee Street, where the man said he had been in bed when he heard someone knocking on his door. He got out of bed and found that 43-year-old Hodges Towns, of Wildwood, had entered his home, according to the arrest report. The man pushed Towns out of his home and called police.
Towns was arrested on a charge of burglary and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
