To the Editor:
Americans are wonderful! While we believe in freedom of religion, we also practice separation of church and state. Can great Americans be Democrats, Republicans, libertarians, independents, etc.? Can great Americans be Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, Muslims, Atheists, etc.? Can great Americans be open-minded and practice mutual respect? Can great Americans be out-of-compliance with little white crosses in their yards?
It seems a shame to me that so much time and energy is spent on issues that are simply out-of-compliance.
