To the Editor:

I believe we are starting to understand the costs of the Developer’s rapid expansion of The Villages, and many are not at all happy. I fully acknowledge that not all Villagers feel the way that I do, but for those who do it’s time to organize our efforts to get our voices heard.
Starting with the County Commissioners meeting, overwhelming orderly an polite participation is a must. Then initiate an organization to
subdivide by some possible areas of interest to include solicitation of candidates to replace current commissioners, vetting these candidates and when the time comes help support their election.
Develop local and national interest in on understanding what’s happening in The Villages by contacting media outlets.
Consider changes to county government policies an organization, to better integrate all county resident opinions and interests in county decisions. This is not just  a Villager issue.
Review the current ethics structure for county officials to safe guard against conflict of interest.
These are just a few of the topics which I suggest be explored through formal organization, contrary opinions and input should be encouraged and respected.
