Allow residents to display lawn ornaments

To the Editor:

The deed restrictions should be changed to allow people of all ethnic origins, political beliefs and religious or non religious beliefs to display lawn ornaments, flags, etc.
The diversity of the homeowners is part of the charm and magnet-like attraction that brings more residents.
From my armchair it sounds like some people are upset about other issues and make it their “duty” to make sure some homeowners are “compliant.”
I’ve been to lots of the different “Villages” and observed beautiful ornaments, flags, rain barrels, etc.
There are so many fun uplifting activities available to residents and non-residents there should be no time for complaining about such trivial issues.
