Guest fees should be discussed

To the Editor:

Guest fees should be discussed.
We have lived in communities where a person was permitted to have a guest up to 10 times in one year. Thereafter they were charged $5. I believe this is fair because the community was built for those individuals who purchased homes in that community (not their entire family and relatives).  While my sister lives in Marion County and I would love to have her come and spend an afternoon with me at the pool, we have never violated the policy. The facilities are for homeowners and people should treat them as such.
Just because their children or grandchildren live close by, it does not automatically grant them free extended use of our facilities.
