The Florida Department of Health in Marion County is asking Summerfield-area residents to take a survey to share their thoughts on daily life in the community.
Dubbed an Environmental Health Assessment, the survey asks residents to voice their opinions on what can be improved within the community to build a healthier Summerfield. Residents can complete the brief survey by clicking HERE. All responses need to be received by Oct. 31.
Once the survey is completed and results are compiled, a community group will determine how to move forward with improvement projects based on short-term, intermediate and long-term goals. Examples of possible projects from the Environmental Health Assessment Survey could include park development, sidewalks and community gardens.
For questions about the assessment, contact Tammie Durden at (352) 299-0089 or [email protected].
