To the Editor:

To have the Sumter County commissioners state that there were very few complaints is almost as ludicrous as the dubious explanations of the need for the Villager Residents to fund the roads and infrastructure needed by the Developer for their expansions. The understanding or agreements between the county and the Developer need to be adjusted so that the Developer, not the residents, assume the costs of the Developers very profitable expansions. I don’t think the commissioners/Developers have ever heard or understand the meaning of the word “transparency.”
They conduct business behind closed doors, in secret, planning for their next project(s). This is a wonderful place, extremely well planned out, probably the best retirement center in the world. Retired people move here based on what they see, the benefits, living costs, etc. None of us need to be misled by false information and representation from people who by their actions, don’t appear to be representing US! Thank you.
