William T. Wilhelm Jr., age 76, of The Villages, Florida passed away November 13, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 8, 1943 in Charlotte, Michigan. After retiring from Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, as an electrician, he moved to The Villages, FL to spend his days golfing. In addition to golf, he worked at Hacienda Country Club as a golf ambassador for 17 years. He was a proud US Army Veteran as well as a Mason.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kathleen, his 3 children; Jacqueline Wilhelm of Cocoa Beach, FL, William T. (Sonja) Wilhelm III of Chelsea, MI, and Cynthia (Brent) Agnew of South Lyon, MI, as well as his beloved pet Tinkerbell; plus his 6 Grandchildren: Shawn, Brandon, David, William IV, Kennedee & Kassidee, as well as 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 5 siblings; Judith Domski, Daniel (Becky) Wilhelm, Dennis (Debbie) Wilhelm, Deborah (Robert) Heyer, Anthony (Denise) Wilhelm – as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents William T. Sr. & Florence Wilhelm.
A memorial will be held at Hope Lutheran Church (250 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162) on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 9:30am with a service to begin at 10:30 am. Additionally, a Celebration of Life will be held in Michigan in Spring 2020 with specific details to be determined.
