To the Editor:
Just about one word will sum up my feelings about special payment for VIP seating at the tree lightings and that is “SHAMEFUL”!
I have seen other events advertise VIP treatment as well. A lot of money that patrons could spend helping those who may not have a Christmas! Who ever thought up this idea needs to reflect on what the Christmas season is about.
And just where is that money going these foolish people are spending for so called VIP treatment? Each and every person in my community is a VIP in my eyes. I’m proud to be a Villager. Don’t take away from our reputation as being known as “America’s Friendly Hometown” and give it a reputation of only VIPs are treated special.
