The award-winning actor who will always be known as George Costanza is coming to The Villages.
Jason Alexander, known for his nine years of playing the popular character on the television hit comedy “Seinfeld,” will be at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Jan. 7. He will perform his show, titled “As Long As You’re Asking – A Conversation with Jason Alexander,” at 5 and 8 p.m. Tickets range from $79-$119, with some $69 obstructed view seats available. Though best known for superbly playing the role of Jerry Seinfeld’s sidekick the popular sitcom, Alexander has achieved international recognition for a career that has included performances on stage, screen and television. He also has worked extensively as a writer, composer, director, producer and teacher of acting.
For his work on “Seinfeld,” Alexander earned six Emmy nominations, four Golden Globe nominations, an American Television Award and two American Comedy Awards. He also has won two Screen Actors Guild Awards and received the “Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement” from the Actor’s Fund.
