The Villages hospital tightly restricting visitors in wake of Coronavirus crisis

As cases of COVID-19 continue to increase throughout Central Florida, The Villages hospital and its sister campus in Leesburg have clamped down on visitors.

“To protect the health of our patients and healthcare providers, no visitors are permitted at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and UF Health The Villages Hospital except under special circumstances such as patients receiving end of life care or the imminent birth of a child,” said Don Henderson, CEO of UF Health Central Florida.

Additionally no one under the age of 18 will be permitted to enter the hospital at this time.
