To the Editor:
How is that “hoax” thing working out for everyone in The Villages? The delay in invoking distancing and other public health measures will sadly be measured in many deaths here. A smart thermometer company has been documenting atypical fevers nationwide and central Florida lit up like a neon sign last week, meaning COVID-19 illness will surge here in about two weeks overwhelming local medical resources. Look at what is happening in New Orleans now due to their recklessness in Mardi Gras four weeks ago – that is Villages future!
