The Community Improvement Council has donated 290 hand spray sanitizers to The Villages Public Safety Department.
Deputy Chief James Goodworth accepted the hand sprays from the CIC and will be distributing them to their personnel. These individual hand sanitizers are small enough that the responders can carry them in their pockets at all times.
“It’s important to recognize that our first responders are on the front line all the time and exposed to unknown conditions. We are very grateful and are very thankful for all that they do for all residents in The Villages,” said CIC President David Carey.
CIC has made additional sanitizers available to other residential groups needing protective support.
