To the Editor:
If you are a dog owner it is your responsibility to take care of your pet. Dog parks are a “gift” to help you have a place for your dog to run around.
I am a dog owner and my husband or myself and many time both of us together take our dog for a walk. We do this at least two times a day, sometimes more. Right now with the restrictions for staying at home, taking a walk is very therapeutic. You need to get the fresh air and puppy needs to exercise also. I just read about the overflowing trash container filled with poop bags. That disgusted me.
People, take your poop bag, pick up the poop, then take it home and flush it down your own toilet, then dispose of the poop bag. We have a covered plastic container that we bought at Home Depot. It’s great to put the empty poop bags in. It is covered and there is very little odor. You can put a deodorizer stick in the container if you need to.
Come on people, use common sense. This is a difficult time for everyone and this type of thing is not brain surgery. Be a responsible pet owner and everyone will benefit. Especially your pet.
