A Lake Panasoffkee woman was involved in an accident in which a bicyclist was fatally injured.
Sarah Fogel, 35, was at the wheel of 2017 Dodge Ram pickup at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday traveling southbound on U.S. 19 in Citrus County when the outside mirror of her truck hit a bicyclist, 49-year-old Arthur Nesbitt III of Homosassa, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Nesbitt’s bicycle had traveled around several construction barrels which had been placed along the shoulder of the roadway.
Nesbitt died at the scene of the crash.
