A woman was transported by ambulance to the hospital after two golf carts collided near the Bradenton Recreation Center.
The woman was driving a golf cart at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday northbound on Anna Maria Avenue and stopped at a stop sign at Pinellas Place, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She turned left in front of another golf cart which was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Anna Maria Avenue from Pinellas Place.
The front of the woman’s golf cart struck left side of the second golf cart.
