Man with drugs arrested in parking lot of car dealership in Wildwood

A man with drugs was arrested in the parking lot of a car dealership in Wildwood.

Jeremy Michael Piediscalzo, 27, of Lecanto, was driving a white Pontiac with no visible tag attached at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday when he was pulled over at the George Nahas Chevrolet dealership on State Road 44, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

When an officer approached the Pontiac, the odor of burnt marijuana was detected. Piediscalzo admitted he had been smoking marijuana in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle turned up .85 grams of methamphetamine in the center console.

Piediscalzo was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,000 bond.
