Robert Wenrich

Robert Wenrich Sr.

Robert (Bob) Wenrich passed away on May 30, 2020 at his home in The Villages, FL. He was born in East Orange General Hospital, NJ on October 14, 1951 to Roscoe and Joyce Wenrich. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Wenrich and his sister Joy Wenrich Weiboldt. He is survived by his life partner/wife Kathleen (Wenrich) Carpenter, his sons Robert (Jody) Wenrich and Jonathan (Mary Helen) Wenrich, his sister Judith (Richard) Courter, his granddaughters Cristina (John) Merola, Brianna Wenrich, Melissa

Duvelsdorf, Denise Duvelsdorf and his great grandson John Carl Merola.

Bob was raised in the family home in Wayne, NJ but spent much of his time on the family farm in Verdilla, PA. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Mechanics Union from 1968 until 1999 where he worked for United Advertising, Advance Sign Company, Bergen Sign Company and Richard Sign Company. From 1972-1999 Bob was Owner/Operator of BOJAY Sign Company. He worked for Precision Company from 1999-2001. He then went onto work for Ledgewood Sign-A-Rama in 2001 until retirement in 2011. Bob was an active sportsman (hunting and archery), an avid bowler (with a 300 game ring), a champion pool player and manager/owner of BOJAY Softball team. He lived in New Jersey for 64 years before retiring to The Villages, FL.

The family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful care, comfort and support provided by Henry Martinez, Bob’s trusted caregiver and friend. Henry has been a blessing to the entire family and was a good friend and companion to Bob for the last several years.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Cornerstone Hospice and other friends.

Donations can be made to the family who will share with their favorite charities.

 

Golf course deserves a failing grade
