Egbert Boxford Nichols, 93, of Summerfield, passed away on May 23, 2019, at Advent Health Care in Ocala.
Egbert served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He received a Purple Heart, Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars and a Combat Infantry Badge.
He is survived by his wife Franca Nichols and his daughters, Claire Pope Nichols (Mike) of Palm Coast and Nancy Nichols of New York. He will be placed at Florida National Cemetery.
