To the Editor:
The Dump Trump movement is gaining steam as evidenced by his declining approval ratings. Evidence his latest approval rating by Gallup: 39 percent approval; 57 percent disapprove.
Reasons for his disapproval:
He has made 18,000 false or misleading claims in 1,170 days since the beginning of his presidency.
He has averaged 23.8 lies per day since the first case of COVID-19, according to Forbes. And remember his drug and Lysol false claim.
The average American household was going to receive $4,000 from the Republican tax cut. That only increased our deficit and benefited the corporate rich. Remember!
The Republicans and Trump have dismantled Obamacare and offered nothing to replace it.
Only 8 percent of black Americans voted for him in 2016 and he wants to be their friend, right? Except people keep calling him a racist. Hum! Remember his photo op at the Washington, D.C. church where pushing back the peaceful protesters was more important than getting his picture taken? What a narcissist.
Ask the retired military leaders if they like what he is doing in response to the protests.
Enough for now. Join the Dump Trump movement! It’s necessary for our country and democracy!
