A Villages couple is celebrating the high school gradation of their granddaughter in Connecticut.
Emma Burns is the granddaughter of Rick and Gloria Powers, who live in the Village of Pinellas. She was ranked number five in her class with a grade point average of 4.8 – a fact that made her grandparents quite proud!
Burns, who displayed a variety of tassels to show her many accomplishments, will be attending Villanova University in Pennsylvania in the fall, is planning on becoming a surgeon.
