To the Editor:
On June 22 you published a Letter to the Editor by Sherry Alexander of the Village of Woodbury. In the letter, she stated that I lied when I said that my attacker, stepped in front of my moving golf cart on Old Camp Road and when I stopped to avoid hitting him, he grabbed me by the left side of my neck, and dug his long fingernails into my skin causing loss of blood from my neck. He dragged me out of my cart and when I got to my feet I punched him as hard as I could in his face. Then a number of other men grabbed myself and my attacker and broke up the fight. The man who had pushed me into my cart and said for me to leave the scene in order to restore peace. I agreed and left.
When I arrived in front of Palmer County Club where we were protesting against Trump that day, I called the police and filed a honest police report.
Sherry stated in her letter. “I was NOT pulled out of my cart” and that I was lying. OK, so now we have Sherry’s statement and mine. Your readers can judge who is telling the truth. The Village-News.com the next day published pictures of my neck with the puncture wounds and the blood on the side of my golf cart. Anyone ever in a fist fight, knows there are no puncture wounds on the fighter’s neck. Sherry, I bet from the tone of her letter, is a Trump supporter. The man who has lied since taking office over 17,000 times, or they can believe me, and the picture of the neck wounds I suffered, and picture of the blood on the side of my cart. Now Sherry Alexander your lies are SHAMEFUL!
