James D. Shay

James D. Shay, 82, passed away July 9, 2020.

He moved to The Villages in 2002 from Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Jim was born in Albany, Minnesota, he was one of 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Jim and his wife Corrine were avid golfers, loved to cook and entertain. The Shays are faithful members of St. Mark the Evangelist parish.

Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years Corrine; 5 Children: Brian (Stephanie) Seattle, WA; Bruce (Becky) White Bear Lake, MN; Francine (Filo Sedillo) Sydney, Australia; Gwen (Peter Tonino) Oak Park, IL; Tami (Bill Peck) Chesterton, IN. In addition, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Francis James and Aidan James.

Due to Covid a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
