To the Editor:
I am very sad to see the Hacienda Hills Country Club torn down.
Architecturally, it was the most beautiful building in The Villages. It was very much needed in that section of The Villages.
I really miss Chula Vista restaurant. Then Katie Bells, now this! Several restauranteur friends said they could not afford The Villages’ lease terms. Maybe if they’d ease up, we could get good managers/restaurants to succeed. This is very sad. Almost as sad as losing Church on the Square. Too bad the Developer thinks with his wallet rather than of the residents who filled his wallet!
